Description:
FPTOOL ([Fpto94]) supports the effort estimation with the Function Point method. The tool provides three main functionalities:
- administration:
All relevant factors influencing the Function Point count are registered.
- estimation:
Application of the classical Function Point method. The results may be stored to serve as experience data base.
- simulation:
This functionality allows to observe the impact of a modification of selected parameters on the final effort estimation. <
