Application domain: evaluated software measurement

Description:

LOGISCOPE [Veri92] is specialized on the measurement of the structural complexity of a software and the complexity of statements. Structural complexity is examined on two levels:

  1. control flow structure
  2. module call structure
LOGISCOPE supplies different forms of graphical evaluation. Besides aspects of quality assessment are realized through language-specific empirical recommendations for the predefined metrics. The use of Kiviat Diagrams represents a typical characteristic of LOGISCOPE as it allows to combine the results of different metrics with empirical data.

Supported languages:

Special features:

  • multiple types of diagrams for the presentation of measurement results
  • analysis of module call structure
  • integration of industrial experience

Requirements: UNIX / X Window system

Online-Manual: Logiscope 1.5.1 (sorry, only in German)
