- Frontier NETscout Probe The Frontier NETscout Probes series offer the comprehensive end-to-end monitoring you need to simplify network troubleshooting. NETscout Probes monitor network traffic and can be customized to monitor any application, regardless of its topology or protocol. Also there is the ability for out-of-band management with SLIP. The probes allow proactive, real-time monitoring with the management protocol SNMP and of all RMON and RMON2 attributes in various network topologies, e.g:
