Application domain: process evaluation

Description:

SOFT-ORG ( [Sfto95] ) does not evaluate selected software projects but company-related characteristics of software development. SOFT-ORG builds a model of an examined company that is structured in seven domains:

  • organization
  • resources
  • data handling
  • process modelling
  • interfaces
  • company requirements
  • project and configuration management
Each domain is represented by a set of object classes and instances or entities that are specified by attributes. SOFT-ORG tests the internal consistency of all domains and their relations. Several graphical presentations and printing options are available to obtain a structured overview of the evaluation results.

Special features:

  • analysis and evaluation of company characteristics

Requirements: MS Windows

SOFT-ORG: table of objects and classes
